Something to Tamper With, Nordic House, 2019

When a screen breaks and is no longer useful as the communication device we know it to be, a polarizer remains behind the wreckage still fully capable of mediating some kind of information to us. It breaks light the way water does when it rains and shines at the same time, or oil when it covers dark sea.

Something to Tamper With is a set of building blocks made of a hardwood plank and dismantled parts of phones from my acquaintances and their acquaintances. The building blocks are here for you to stack them as you please, observe them, observe yourself or your environment through them.
